"I'm desperate for you ...
Every part of you, does my soul crave. Oh Daddy, you captivated my heart at hello. Falling in love with Jesus was the best thing that I've ever done. When I think back to the beginning of You and I, to the beginning of our love story, to the moment our eyes first locked, I didn't have much to offer. In fact I had nothing at all. All I possessed was a broken heart. A heart that had been rejected at birth by both parents, a heart that went from foster home to foster home, a heart that was adopted by cheerful newlyweds that thought they couldn't conceive children, then given back to the system. A heart that was desperate for acceptance. You were soooo persistent for an orphaned heart that had been abandoned, left for nothing. Oh Daddy thanks for being home and never leaving. You thought I was worth saving, you thought I was worth keeping, YOU thought I was worth using. It was You, the Great I Am, the All Righteous, All Victorious, the one that loves me with an everlasting love, the one that calls me friend, that went out and found every piece to my broken heart and put it back together again. You breathed life back into it. You revived my dead bones. When the world said no, You said yes. When I was pushed to the side, You said yes. Even when I said no, when I didn't believe in myself, when I had no strength and no will to fight, It was You, my Heavenly Papa, that said yes. It was You that set me aside for your purpose, for your Kingdom work. "
"I know I laugh and joke with you often that you're too much, that you're too good and too loving. It's just that my soul thinks the world of you. Your very presence takes my breath away. Yes... you're just that adorable. Oh Daddy, thanks for making my heart your home. Your hand has never failed me and it never will. You don't run out of miracles, you don't get tired of blessing. You're not like man - you keep every vow you make. You can not lie. Your Word has been tried and proven to be true. Your word will always return to you as it was sent out, of a good report. You neither sleep nor slumber. It is you Daddy, that sits high and look low and it is your eyes that is in every place, beholding the good and the evil. Oh how excited I am to run for you. I want to soar for you. You have done such a marvelous work in me. I can't wait to build "wise wives" for your Kingdom. You have given me victory over my enemies. With my eyes, you promised that I would see the reward of the wicked and of my foes. Oh Daddy, thanks for being home with me. You have instilled GODfidence in me, which the World can't and didn't give and the world can't take it away. "
"All that I am and all that I am not, is yours. Whatever you desire to have, is yours. All the days of my life, I just want to do you proud Daddy. Your baby girl now knows that she can do hard things and all things through Christ Jesus which strengthens her."
