Journal Entry #10 Dream Update, "Rumors of War"

Stopping to grab something quick after bible study, Evelyn began to get a little whiny and tell me she was hungry and ready to take a bath, "Mommy, I want to eat and take a bath." "I know sweet girl, we're almost home," I replied, paying the cashier and doing a quick check of my order. Pulling off from the window, with my mind on my current matter - getting home and eventually getting Evelyn to bed, the subject of "war" began to fall on my heart. I wasn't so sure if it was because of the heavy Word that had just come forth during bible study about an upcoming event to come to the land or the fact that we had been instructed by The Lord to read Matthew 24 to get a better understanding on where we, the World stood in scriptures.

It was when I was getting Evelyn out of the bathtub, towel in hand, that The Spirit of The Lord interrupted my thoughts with a strong vision of a scene from a dream He gave me several months ago - which I also blogged about, entitled "Rumors of War." The replay of this particular scene was when "I was laying on the couch in my great room, half asleep, half awake. My eyes were close, however, I could hear the newscaster going on and on about our country being threatened with war. Suddenly gunfire began to ring outside of my window. Bombs were being set off. I jumped up in a panic and immediately ran throughout my house and turned off the lights and closed the blinds to the windows." After the vision ended, The Spirit of The Lord spoke, "That is among you, war." My heart immediately dropped. I put Evelyn down with a quickness and opened my phone to the current news that was happening in the World. Before now, I was not up to speed with any of the current events that were taking place in Afghanistan or Haiti. Mind you, I've been off of social media since April 2020. For the last couple of weeks, I've been really busy preparing for my zoom classes that I really didn't take time to peep the news like that. My first swift of it all came tonight, during Bible Study when the Lord spoke through a prophecy with a warning to "Brace yourselves for a sudden shaking. Just as there has been a great shaking in the land of Haiti, I, The Lord Your God is bringing a great shaking to this land and it will happen suddenly. I've warned you to prepare your homes and prepare your spirits. The shaking is near and it will erupt... suddenly."

Grieved in my spirit I opened my bible to Matthew 24:3 "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age? And Jesus answered and said to them: Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying I am the Christ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginning of sorrows."

This scripture is speaking so profoundly to not be deceived with comforting words during this season. If your Pastor or spiritual mentor is preaching anything contrary to repentance, relationship, or salvation please run!! This is not the time to speak anything other than REPENTANCE, RELATIONSHIP, and SALVATION. Jesus is truly giving the disciples a glimpse into the "beginning of sorrow." There will be perilous (danger, ruin, disaster) times, is that not here? Is not COVID 19 an epidemic (pestilence)? The shortage of food (famine) we're seeing here and there in restaurants, schools, market places that are only getting worse. Other countries are facing more severe famine. The earthquakes around the world, an eruption of volcanoes, the rise of kingdoms against kingdoms. Jesus warns the disciples to not be alarmed, for those things MUST come to pass. There must be a time of shaking and despair, but why? Why would our Heavenly Father, The One that controls nature, allow such ruin to come upon our world? Simply put, because He loves us so. Out of His lovingkindness, He is drawing men unto Him. He did it quite often in The Old Testament. When He judged, He would permit famine, war, and/or pestilence to come upon the land and they would return to Him with fasting, praying, and repentance. It was when they would turn from their sinful ways, humble themselves and pray, would He heal their land - opening the Heavens to shower nourish the ground and turn back their enemy. We know that God "changes not" because Malachi 3:6 tells us so. If one should ever think that no such thing as "war" could happen in America - Land of The Free, think again. For The Lord to remind me of such a dream - vividly giving me the scene that the outbreak of chaos is to come suddenly, I know I had to do my part and Blog, minister about it.

Taking it all in that's transpiring in our world today, I am more than convinced that we're in Matthew 24. Convinced that God is using such things to compel all men unto Him. The Church, His Bride is moving forth with preaching, teaching, and healing like never before. Even in His Judgment, He's merciful. Being the loving Father that He is, desiring His children to turn back, back to their first love, Jesus, with all of their heart.

Jesus Is Just That Good,
