Spending Time With Jesus

The Blog Title doesn't lie, you're getting exactly what it states. I haven't been loosed from blogging about "relationship" or given another blog title from the Holy Spirit just yet, so I'm here once again, ministering about the importance of relationship with Jesus, with an example of a day in prayer for me. Relationship with Jesus is as simple as sitting before him in worship and prayer. You will flourish by doing just that. A mistake I made years ago when I began to pray, was to compare my prayer language to others around me. For years I wouldn't pray in public, on the mic at church. Friend, don't make the same mistake I made. Pray how YOU pray. Talk to our Father how YOU talk. Be YOU in his presence. Your prayer will grow and strengthen with time. Prayer is the gateway portal to how we communicate to Heaven. Rather you sit and talk with Jesus for five minutes, thirty minutes, or an hour, rather it be at 5AM, 12PM, 6PM, or Midnight, he's so very glad that you took out the time to commune with him. Might I add, don't ever think Jesus is not listening. By Faith, believe that he's there, with you, taking in every word you speak. I like to pray using the guidelines of ACTS - Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Also, I pray a lot in Thanksgiving, praying the solution, not the problem, and praying back to the Father his word. For the Bible states that he watches over his Word to perform it.

"Good morning Daddy, Good morning Jesus, Good morning Holy Spirit, it's your Beloved, Pam. Thank You for another glorious day of joy, peace, strength, and victory. For this is the day you have made Father, my heart will be glad and rejoice in it. One thing I have desired, that I seek, to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, beholding your goodness. Oh how marvelous are your works, which my souls knows well. In the morning will I rise and bless you for your lovingkindness and in the evening, your faithfulness. I adore you Jesus. I adore you and I worship you in all of your Glory and beauty. For you are the lifter of my head, the reason I'm able to stand. You're Yahweh, El Shaddai, Jehovah, Nissi - The Lord Jehovah, The Lord God Almighty, The Lord My Banner. And on this morning I worship you in all of your splendor. You're lovely, all together wonderful to me, to my family. You reign as Lord in my life. You have no rivals, no equals. You're the Bright and Morning Star, The Lion of Judah, you're Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and End, The Author and Finisher of My Faith, The Lover and Keeper of My Soul. You're Jehovah, You're Savior, Jesus.

Father, I confess my shortcomings, my flaws before you. Father in your tender mercy I ask for your forgiveness of my sin, known and unknown on today. Lord forgive me for my thoughts that are not pure and holy. Forgive me for my senseless acts of impatience, rudeness. Forgive me for offending those unknowingly and unintentionally Father. Lord I bless you for the forgiveness of sins shown towards my spouse and our children. Lord have mercy, mercy, mercy. Give us a heart of repentance, a contrite spirit. A heart thats not sorry but godly sorry, a heart that you will not despise. Thank You for casting our sins into the sea of "know no more." Look upon this world, country, state, city, and community and forgive the sins Lord. They are great before you.

Now Father I just want to thank you for being my everything. All that I have, all that I am, all that I will ever be is because of you. And for that alone, I give you praise, I give you glory. Thank You for not only calling me but choosing me, setting me aside for your purpose and glory. If I had 10,000 tongues I couldn't Thank You enough Father! You are worthy of my hallelujah, you are well deserving of the honor. I thank you for the restoration of my soul, for keeping my mind in perfect peace, for life and that more abundantly, for breakthroughs on my job, in my bloodline, and in my home. Thank you for the one you have set as shepherd over me, Lord continue to keep him and bless him, make your face to shine upon him in Jesus name. Thank you for being a God that judges justly. Thank you for being a God of vengeance, my recompense, my vindicator. Oh how I thank you for favor. I know you favor me because my enemies do not triumph over me Father.

Now Lord my supplications, You have done so very much for me. You have done so very much for my family. You have kept us all through perilous times. Father, I ask that revival will hit the land like never before. I pray that prodigals will return back to you. I pray that the murderer, drunker, fornicator, the pedophile, the back slidder will all return to their first true love, Jesus. I pray for the scales to be removed from eyes so that you're glory can be seen, deaf ears can be opened and hearken unto your voice, and stony, hardened hearts softened to feel the majesty of your love and peace Father. Give your children a hunger and thirst for your Word like never before. May your Word heal them and deliver them from their destructions. May they abide under the wings, under the shadow of the Almighty always. As you look upon my life I thank you for complete restoration. Continue to show your power in my life that the unbelievers will believe. Lord I live to exalt your name, so You can draw all men unto you. To live is Christ, to die is gain. I praise you because its already done. You're moving in my life and for that I Thank You. Thank You for divine revelation and wisdom for how you want the ministry that you've blessed me with to be executed. May I always be grounded and rooted in your love. May I make you proud Father, all the days of my life.

I seal this prayer with the Blood of The Lamb and this I ask all in your son Jesus Mighty name. Amen."
